Hybrid Massive Online Open Course
Promoting Art Therapy for Inclusion, Healing, and Community Building
1. Enhancing Educators’ Skills and Competences
We focus on promoting the knowledge and competences of art therapy educators by raising awareness of the therapeutic benefits for victims of war and conflict. The aim is to create a supportive and accessible learning environment by improving understanding and appreciation of art therapy techniques.
2. Developing an Art Therapy Education HMOOC for Inclusion and Well-Being
We are designing an innovative HMOOC (Hybrid Massive Open Online Course) composed of four practical workshops. This educational program highlights the transformative power of art therapy in boosting self-esteem and improving mental health, especially for individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges. The workshops aim to make art therapy more inclusive and integrated within mental health systems. They will be developed and tested in real-life settings across four partner countries.
3. Facilitating Community Building through Art
We promote artistic expression as a powerful tool for creating a sense of community and solidarity. This component encourages collaborative art activities that foster meaningful connections, resilience, and social inclusion. Participants are empowered to build stronger support networks and enhance community-based mental well-being.
Involving Key Partners
Partner organizations—including Ukrainian NGOs and others with limited prior experience in art therapy—play a vital role. Their contributions help shape, evaluate, and increase the visibility and transferability of these activities, ensuring the project remains grounded, impactful, and responsive to real needs.
